My Magical Journey…………      

I was born and brought up in Chennai , India. I am known by people here as “ ESCAPE ARUN”. Although I was attacked by polio at the age of one. I am proud to say and have been told by many as a young,energetic and multi talented person. My disability has never been a barrier but my motivation to my  success.  A lot of people wonder and even ask why do you need to do all this with your disability, my only reply to them is ‘ Nothing is Impossible to me’.

Though I’m a law and MBA graduate , my passion for Magic led me into starting my career as a closeup performer.Later I developed it into big illusions and doing unbelievable acts and impossible things in magic. I have also done daredevil escapes .I was the first person who did the  Straight Jacket Escape(2007) for AIDS awareness in a record time in front of a large number of audience.I have also done blindfold rides for tsunami victims , aids awareness programme and worldcup cricket 2007 campaign.  I am also proud to say that I am the first person who have performed magic show and escape stunt before all police staff of chennai.I have also done a lot of tv programmes  and appeared in channels such as Sun News , Sun Tv, Raj tv, Ndtv,ETv,Zee News and  Star News headlines . I have been appreciated by many leading newspapers such as the ‘The Hindu’ as a local David Blaine in the making.

My magic does not only entertain adults but also the young ones , I make them go crazy over my balloon sculpturing and performances. I have done a lot of performances in schools , lions club, rotary club,corporate shows. Being a member of the International Magician Society , I am now ready to continue my magical journey to various parts of the world.

My dream is to open a magic school specially for disabled people to teach them and let them know life has no barriers. I want to be an inspiration for others who are physically and emotionally disabled. My believe in this saying “ Nothing is impossible in life because impossible itself says I’m possible” has led me to prove to people as a living example and show how to live life in a happy way through my magic.
